Preserving Religious Liberty

The First Amendment to the United States constitution begins, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Now, approximately 250 years later religious freedom is one of the most pressing issues in America today, especially for Christians and Jews alike.

Democrats have continually declined to meaningfully denounce anti-Semitic rhetoric in American colleges, businesses and in Congress itself even though the majority of hate crimes in America are committed against members of the Jewish community.  In 2021 the Biden administration openly violated the Taylor Force Act which had stopped American economic aid to the Palestinian Authority “PA” until the PA ceases paying stipends to individuals who commit acts of terrorism and to the families of deceased terrorists.  Specifically, the administration in 2021 provided $15 million for a COVID-19 containment project as well as $75 million of general economic support in March.  Those funds were followed by a package that included $150 million for UNRWA in April, which Trump had previously cut altogether.
